About Josh & Big Bark

A local tech business built around better service.

Big Bark Smart Tech combines broad hands-on experience with patient troubleshooting, clean workmanship, and the accountability of working directly with the person doing the job.

The person behind the work

You call Big Bark. You work with Josh.

Big Bark is an independent local business, so there is no rotating help desk and no handoff between a salesperson and an installer. Josh listens to the problem, works through the options, completes the work, and remains your point of contact.

Josh’s path into field technology had humble beginnings: hands-on satellite-internet installations across the Northwest. From there, the work expanded into coax and cable internet in nearby towns and cities, followed by years of installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber-optic networks and the equipment that keeps people connected.

That background reaches from the service coming into a property all the way to the cable, router, computer, camera, or connected device in a customer’s hands. It shaped Big Bark’s whole approach: look at the complete system, find the real cause, and make the finished result both dependable and understandable.

Today, the work ranges from rural internet, Wi-Fi, networking, cameras, and low-voltage cabling to computers, connected devices, electronics cleaning, and repair. The tools and technologies may change, but the common thread is practical problem-solving, clean workmanship, and taking responsibility for the result.

What guides the work

Straight answers are part of the service.

01

Listen before recommending

The first step is understanding what is going wrong, what has already been tried, and what a useful result looks like to you.

02

Diagnose the whole setup

A weak connection, failed device, or frustrating system often has more than one possible cause. Good decisions start with the right diagnosis.

03

Build the right-sized fix

The goal is a dependable result—not selling the biggest package or replacing equipment that still has a practical life.

04

Leave it understandable

You should know what was changed, how to use the finished setup, and what to watch for after the job is done.

Growing from the repair bench

More room to clean, diagnose, and repair.

A dedicated repair-shop setup is expanding what Big Bark can take on, including deeper cleaning and more careful diagnostic work for computers, consoles, AV equipment, and other electronics.

Capabilities will continue to grow with experience and the right equipment. Select small appliances and other electronics may be accepted for diagnostics and repair on a case-by-case basis.
